Dr. Nelson, DVM
Dr. Nelson grew up in a small town in northeast Nebraska. She graduated with a degree in Biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University. While in undergrad, Dr. Nelson was involved in a variety of conservation projects which led her to veterinary school. She graduated with her DVM from a joint program with Iowa State and the University of Nebraska Lincoln. She fell in love with small animal medicine and interacting with clients. Her professional interests now include dermatology, surgery, wildlife medicine, and geriatric care.
Also Fear Free Certified, Dr. Nelson is excited to continue providing a safe and friendly environment for your pets. You can find her and her Labrador, Blu, spending their free time exploring the mountains or traveling to see family and friends.
Bonnie has been in the business of grooming dogs and cats for 30+ years and has been a part of the Skyview Staff for over 5 years.
As a lover of all things in the ranching life, Bonnie shares her 320-acre property just outside of Roundup with 10 horses, 2 dogs, “too many” cats and a number of chickens.
Originally from Minnesota, Bonnie has been in Mt for over 11 years. She starts every day bright and early to care for all of her personal animals and still manages to make it here by 7 am to put in a long day of grooming.
Bonnie has a talent for grooming that is truly amazing. We encourage anyone who is interested in a new groomer to give us a call to get Bonnie to work her magic.
I’m new to Skyview Veterinary Hospital. I was hired in April of this year as a vet assistant. I have been in this field a little over 7 years now and am loving it! My passion is helping animals and educating owners. I have 3 cats at home with me. Annie, Ringo, and Lucy. There’s never a dull moment with them. I hope to add more for babies to my home. I enjoy art, photography and hiking in my spare time, and of course spending time with animals.
